We’re turning things around this year and will be riding the length of The Danforth from the Viaduct out to Danforth Road. Our starting point this year has moved to Prince Edward Viaduct Parkette (at the west end of the Bloor Viaduct, across from Castle Frank TTC station. You can join us anywhere along the route:

Bells on Danforth 2015

When: Gather at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015. The ride leaves at 11:00 a.m.

Start: Prince Edward Viaduct Parkette (west end of Bloor Viaduct, south side, across from Castle Frank station)

Finish: The Crossroads of the Danforth, Danforth Avenue & Danforth Road. The Crossroads of the Danforth BIA will be throwing us a party when we arrive. Hang out, visit one of the local restaurants, or sit for a picnic lunch in the nearby park.

Getting Back

An escorted return ride west will leave the party at 1:30 p.m. sharp. The official route will return along Danforth Avenue to Broadview, with a branch ride down Jones to the Eats & Beats street festival. Riders may leave the main group with a ding and a wave as they approach their destinations. More details will be announced at the starting point before we get underway and at the Crossroads after we arrive. If you don’t want to take the escorted ride back, we’ll have a limited number of printed return maps available showing you how to get to Victoria Park subway station or the Don Valley trail system via quiet residential streets. All three routes are shown on the map above. If you need more information, ask one of the ride marshals or send us an email.

  1. I can’t wait. It’s my first ride of this sort and I’m bringing my nieces so it will be a lot of fun.

    • Yes, you can leave anytime if you don’t want to be part of the organized ride back west along Danforth.
